The laboratory exercise will include handling of adult chickens and baby chicks; bleeding methods (wing vein; jugular vein, cardiac bleeding by thoracic inlet and lateral approach). The birds will be sacrificed by euthanasia (injection of Euthobarb intravenously or intracardially), and necropsy procedures will be conducted in order to familiarize with various systems, and organs.  Any gross pathological changes will be discussed in relation to normal structures.
